William J. Flynn, a leader in global logistics, has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW), since June 2006 and a member of the company’s board of directors since May 2006. Mr. Flynn has a 37-year career in international supply chain management and freight transportation. Prior to joining AAWW, Mr. Flynn served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GeoLogistics Corporation, beginning in 2002. There he led a successful turnaround of the company’s profitability and the sale of the company in September 2005. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Flynn served as Senior Vice President at CSX Transportation, one of the largest Class 1 railroads operating in the United States. Previously, Mr. Flynn spent over 20 years with Sea-Land Service, Inc., a global provider of container shipping services, where he served in roles of increasing responsibility in the United States, Latin America and Asia. He ultimately served as head of the company’s Asia operations. Mr. Flynn is also a director of Republic Services, Inc. He served as a director of Horizon Lines, Inc. from November 2006 to April 2012.
