Macrae Sykes joined Gabelli & Company, Inc., in October 2008 as a Research Analyst covering asset managers. He began his business career in institutional equities at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York. In his first full year of coverage, Mr. Sykes was ranked number one Analyst in the Investment Services Industry in 2010 in The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street analyst survey. In 2014, he was runner-up for capital markets coverage in StarMine's annual analyst survey for stock picking.
