ART COVIELLO, President and CEO of RSA Security Inc., has been with the
company since 1995 and has more than 20 years of strategic, operating
and financial management experience in high-technology companies. Since
joining RSA Security, he has been a driving force in the rapid growth of
the company, helping increase revenues from $25 million in 1995 to
$307.5 million in 2004. As president and CEO, Mr. Coviello is
responsible for the operations and strategic growth of the company,
directing the company's vision, acquisitions, strategic planning and
investments. Mr. Coviello's contribution has helped establish RSA
Security as the de facto standard for two-factor authentication and
encryption and as a driving force in identity and access management and
standards development. During his tenure, Mr. Coviello orchestrated the
successful acquisitions of Xcert International, 3G International,
TransIndigo, and Securant Technologies to strengthen RSA Security's
position in the e-security market. As a recognized industry luminary,
Mr. Coviello plays a leading role in several national cyber-security and
identity-theft initiatives and serves as an advisor to key government
agencies. Mr. Coviello served as an industry advisor for the Department
of Homeland Security's National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace. He serves
as co-chair of TechNet New England and is a leading member of TechNet's
CEO Cyber Security Task Force. In 2003, he was appointed to co-chair the
National Cyber Security Summit's Corporate Governance Task Force, a
public-private initiative organized by the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security and leading industry associations, including the Business
Software Alliance (BSA), the Information Technology Association of
America (ITAA), TechNet, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Coviello
has spoken at numerous conferences and forums around the world,
including the RSA Conference, 2003 National Cyber Security Summit and
the Business Software Alliance's CEO Forum. Before joining RSA Security,
Mr. Coviello served as chief operating officer for CrossComm
Corporation, an internetworking company. He has also held various
finance and management positions in graphics software and semiconductor
equipment companies and has been directly involved in numerous public
offerings, raising hundreds of millions of dollars in capital. In
addition, he has served on a number of outside boards of directors,
including NetScout Systems, an emerging high technology company. He
began his career at Deloitte & Touche as a CPA. Mr. Coviello graduated
