David R. Bechtel is a Principal of Barrow Street Advisors and its affiliate Barrow Street Capital LLC. He advises on Barrow Street’s business development activities. Additionally, he is a Founder and Managing Member of Outpost Capital Management LLC, which structures and manages investments in the natural resources and financial services sectors. Prior to founding Outpost Capital Management LLC, Mr. Bechtel served as Managing Director and Global Head of Outsourced Proprietary Trading at Bank of America, a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Oak Hill Platinum Partners, and Vice President and Treasurer of SunAmerica Inc. Mr. Bechtel received his B.A. magna cum laude from Yale University and earned his Juris Doctor, Order of The Coif, from Stanford Law School. Profile
