Dan Baker became CEO of America West Resources, Inc., in 2008, where he previously served as COO. He began his career in mining as a Laborer in 1969 after an extended tour of duty with the United States Army in Vietnam, and he has earned mining expertise by serving as Longwall Foreman, Senior Mining Engineer, Longwall Superintendent and Manager of Underground Operations.
