Tim Call, Chief Investment Officer of The Capital Management Corporation,
graduated from the University of Virginia and continued his education with an
MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He received his
CFA designation in June 1995. He started his investment career at Lowe
Brockenbrough & Company as an Equity Research Analyst. During his tenure at LBC,
he led research efforts for six sectors and was a member of the Investment
Committee. He left the firm in 2002 as Director of Research to further develop
his career at Beacon Trust in Madison, New Jersey. He was hired as Vice
President, Portfolio Manager to establish investment disciplines and to lead the
firm's research process for their flagship equity product. In 2004, he was
promoted to Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President. He returned
to Richmond, Virginia in 2006 to take on the position as a Partner of The
Capital Management Corporation, a small investment boutique serving individuals
and families for over 40 years. Since he arrived he has developed numerous
equity products, established more stringent investment disciplines and taken on
the role as the Chief Investment Officer. He is the Chairman of the Investment
Policy Committee and responsible for overseeing client investments. He is also
the author of the firm's quarterly newsletter "Focus". Profile
