ALFRED J. AMOROSO is President and CEO of CrossWorlds Software, Inc. Mr.
Amoroso has more than 26 years of experience in the information
technology arena. Until joining CrossWorlds in October 1999, Mr. Amoroso
served as General Manager of IBM's Asia Pacific Global Services business
unit, where he managed 25,000 employees and nearly doubled the unit's
annual sales during his three-year tenure. Previously, he served as
General Manager of IBM's Worldwide Insurance Business Unit and as Vice
President of IBM Global Services Insurance Consulting Practice. Prior to
joining IBM, Mr. Amoroso worked at Price Waterhouse in a variety of
senior management roles beginning in 1985 when the company he had
founded, Computech Corporation, was acquired by Price Waterhouse. Mr.
Amoroso began his career at EDS Corporation after earning a BS in
Systems Engineering and an MS in Operations Research from the
Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. Profile
