David Hollond is a Chief Investment Officer, Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for American Century Investments, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Hollond is responsible for portfolio management for the firm’s U.S. Growth Equity mid- and small-cap strategies. He is Co-Portfolio Manager of the investment team that oversees the American Century Heritage and All Cap Growth portfolios. He also serves as a member of the Investment Oversight Committee, Products & Markets Committee and the Investment Management Senior Leadership Team. Mr. Hollond joined American Century Investments in 1998. Previously, he provided stock analysis for Vista. Prior to that, he was a Research Associate for the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis. He has worked in the financial industry since 1992. Mr. Hollond earned a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and economics from Grinnell College, a Master of Science in economics from the University of Wisconsin, a Master of Arts in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in business administration in finance from The Wharton School — University of Pennsylvania.
