A. LORNE WEIL has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Scientific Games Corporation since 1992. Scientific Games is the leading
integrated supplier of instant tickets, systems and services to
lotteries and the leading supplier of wagering systems and services to
pari-mutuel operators. It is also a key provider of prepaid phone cards
to telephone operators and a licensed pari-mutuel gaming operator in
Connecticut, Holland and Germany. Mr. Weil held the same positions at
Scientific Games' predecessor company, Autotote Systems, from 1992 until
the merger in 2000. Previously, Mr. Weil was Vice President, Corporate
Development at General Instrument Corporation, working with wagering and
cable systems. Prior to that, he was a senior professional with the
Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Weil earned his undergraduate degree at the
University of Toronto, an MS from the London School of Economics and an
