Howard B. Aschwald, CFA, is Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer and Director of Research at Quantum Capital. He cofounded the firm in 1996. Before Quantum Capital, Mr. Aschwald started his investment career in 1983 with Morgan Stanley. He then joined the investment management firm of Stein Roe as a Technology Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Aschwald graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis and recently retired as a Captain in the Naval Reserve. He has two MBAs from Golden Gate University.
