Joseph Magner is the Managing Director and Senior Oil & Gas Analyst at Macquarie Group Limited. He joined Macquarie Group in September 2009 as part of the Tristone Capital acquisition. He began working for Tristone Capital's Denver office in January 2007, and he has been responsible for providing institutional equity research coverage of the large and midcap U.S. independent E&P companies. Prior to Tristone, he spent five years with Petrie Parkman & Co. providing research coverage of the midcap U.S. E&P sector and maintaining the firm's natural gas macro perspective.
