John Dowling serves as Golub Group’s Chief Investment Officer. In this position, he sets the agenda for both the formal and ad hoc meetings of the research team, prioritizes the firm’s inventory of investment opportunities, and assigns research responsibilities to members of the team. In addition, Mr. Dowling is Chairman of the firm’s three-person Investment Committee. As Chairman, he works with his fellow committee members in constructing and actively managing all client portfolios. Mr. Dowling has been conducting securities and financial analysis since 1998. Prior to joining the Golub Group in 2007, he was a Generalist Analyst covering North American markets for Peters MacGregor Capital Management, a value investment firm headquartered in Australia. He has previously held positions as a Senior Valuation Associate at Standard & Poor’s and PricewaterhouseCoopers and as Credit Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank.
