A. (JACK) CLEGG is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nobel
Learning Communities, Inc. Nobel is one of the nation's education market
leaders and is comprised of three business units: its Nobel Learning
Communities Division, which operates 145 private schools and corporate
sponsored schools; its Nobel Learning Solutions Division, which operates
charter schools, schools for learning challenged children, and specialty
high schools; and its Nobel Education Services Division, which sells
products and services to the public schools. Mr. Clegg joined Nobel in
1992 and performed a financial and strategic turnaround for which he was
named Entrepreneur of the Year. He has owned and/or managed 21
corporations in 17 different industries. He has held numerous Board
positions including the Board of Trustees of Drexel University, from
which he graduated, the Board of the Association of Education in Private
Practice (AEPP), Ferguson International Holdings in London, UK and many
others. Mr. Clegg is a strong advocate that no child gets an equal
