Peter Neumeier, CFA, is a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager at Neumeier Poma Investment Counsel, LLC. He participates in decision making for all aspects of the firmís activities and investment process. His primary research coverage includes, but is not limited to, the financials and consumer discretionary industries. Prior to 1985, Peter held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Air National, Inc., a charter airline based in Monterey, California. He was responsible for the company's accounting, treasury and financial reporting functions (1983-1984). In 1982 he held the position of Financial Analyst for MicroPro International, Inc., of San Rafael, California, and his work focused on the financial reporting of the firm's international subsidiaries. From 1980-1981, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Apollo Airways, Inc., a commuter airline based in Santa Barbara, California. Mr. Neumeier received his CFA designation in 1987 and graduated with a B.A. degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1974. Profile
Brian Poma is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Neumeier Poma Investment Counsel, LLC. He participates in decision making for all aspects of the firm's activities and investment process. His current primary research responsibilities include the health care, technology and energy sectors. Mr. Poma was hired by Neumeier Investment Counsel in January 2000 as the firm's Trader. During that time, he learned the Neumeier approach to value investing and became a Senior Analyst in 2003, received his CFA designation in 2005, and was promoted to the position of Portfolio Manager in 2006.
