William E. Bendush

WILLIAM E. BENDUSH, Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief
Financial Officer, joined Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) in
April 1999. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in
financial management and financing, Mr. Bendush came to the company from
Silicon Systems Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer. Prior to joining Silicon Systems Inc., Mr. Bendush
held various financial management positions at AM International, Gulf +
Western Industries and Gould Inc.
