William Atkins

William Atkins is the Chairman, CEO and a Director of AmeriVest
Properties Inc., an equity real estate investment trust listed on the
American Stock Exchange. Since 1990, he has served as Chairman and
President of Sheridan Realty Corp., of which he is a principal
stockholder and co-founder. Mr. Atkins holds a BA degree from Stanford
University in Economics. Mr. Atkins currently serves on numerous
corporate and charitable boards. He currently resides in Denver and
Santa Barbara and has four children.
