William A. Magill

WILLIAM A. MAGILL is a Principal and Senior Research Analyst in the
Technology Group at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities in San Francisco
where he follows telecommunications transport equipment companies.
Previously, he was associated with Ryan Hankin Kent, Inc. as a Senior
Analyst following telecommunications systems technologies and markets
and with ElectroniCast Corp. as a Senior Analyst. Mr. Magill was also a
Technologist responsible for the operation of lasers and optical
systems, first at TRW and then at Lawrence National Labs. He earned his
Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at
Davis and his MBA from San Francisco State University. Mr. Magill also
received a degree as an Associate of Applied Sciences, Lasers and
Electro-Optics, from Texas State Technical Institute.
