W. TIMOTHY WALLACE is a Managing Director and a Senior Research
Analyst covering radio and television broadcasting stocks in the
Media and Entertainment Group at Banc of America Securities LLC,
which he joined in 1999. Previously, he served from 1996 as a
Senior Vice President in the Equity Research Department at Lehman
Brothers and he worked at Lehman Brothers from 1991 to 1994. He
was a broadcast media and entertainment analyst at SG Warburg
from 1994 to 1996. Prior to entering the securities business, he
worked in the film industry for 10 years. In 1998 and 1999 he was
recognized for his stock-picking skills in the broadcasting
category by The Wall Street Journal’s All-Star survey. In the
1999 Wall Street Journal’s All-Star survey he was also recognized
for the accuracy of his earnings estimates. He earned his BA from
New York University’s film school in 1976 and an MBA in Finance
and Marketing from Columbia University in 1991.
