Toni Schuh

TONI SCHUH was appointed President and CEO of SEQUENOM, Inc., and also a
member of its Board of Directors in May 2000. He has been a member of
SEQUENOM’s executive team since 1996 and played a leading role in
implementing SEQUENOM’s business strategy, directing the company’s
MassARRAY_ system launch and developing commercial and strategic
partnerships. Dr. Schuh joined SEQUENOM as Managing Director of its
German operations in 1996 and was appointed Corporate Executive Vice
President of Business Development in 1998. Before joining SEQUENOM, Dr.
Schuh was Head of the Pharma Business Development Group at Helm AG, one
of the world’s largest chemical and pharmaceutical distribution
corporations. Prior to that, he held an international management
position at Fisons Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Schuh holds a PhD in
pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Bonn, Germany.
