Tom Thompson

TOM THOMPSON was appointed President and COO of CKE Restaurants, Inc. in
October 1994. He serves on the Board of Directors of Rally’s Hamburgers,
Inc. and Checkers Drive-In Restaurants which are traded on NASDAQ. In
1994, Mr. Thompson was elected President of the Star Franchise
Association, an organization for Carl’s Jr. franchisees and served as a
long-term board member. A graduate of Eastern Washington State College,
he earned a BA degree in Business Administration while lettering for
four years in football and baseball.
