Todd Ahlsten

TODD AHLSTEN is the Portfolio Manager for the Parnassus Equity Income
Fund and the Parnassus Fixed-Income Fund. He is also Director of
Research and Vice President at Parnassus Investments. Mr. Ahlsten
completed an undergraduate degree from the Haas School of Business at
the University of California, Berkeley in 1994. He began working as an
analyst at Parnassus Investments in 1995 and was promoted to Director of
Research in 1998. In May 2001, Mr. Ahlsten was named co-Portfolio
Manager of the Parnassus Equity Income Fund and Fixed-Income Fund. He
became sole Portfolio Manager of those Funds in May 2002. In August
2003, Mr. Ahlsten was ranked number 43 on Barron’s Top 100 Fund Manager
list.
