Tim B. Smith

TIM B. SMITH is Founder, Chairman, CEO, and President of Infinite
Technology Corporation. Mr. Smith has over 35 years’ experience in the
semiconductor industry, with extensive background in product
development, marketing, manufacturing and general management. He was a
Senior Vice President at Texas Instruments with responsibilities for
worldwide product strategies such as Linear, Memory and Microprocessor
products. He also managed Texas Instruments’ manufacturing in the Asia
Pacific Region before leaving TI in 1986. Since then, he has been the
CEO of two other technology companies before founding ITC in 1991. Mr.
Smith is widely known among Asian semiconductor executives, many of whom
are former TI managers. Mr. Smith has a BS and MS in Electrical
Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
