Thomas L. Fisher

THOMAS L. FISHER is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nicor Inc.
and Chairman of Nicor’s principal subsidiary, Nicor Gas. Mr. Fisher
began his career with the company in 1967 and has held various positions
at Nicor Gas and Nicor. He served as Chief Financial Officer of both
companies as well as Nicor’s Vice President, operations. Mr. Fisher is a
1966 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in
Industrial Management. He received a Master’s in Business Administration
from the University of Chicago in 1983. Mr. Fisher is the Chairman of
the Board of the Gas Technology Institute. He also serves on the boards
of LaSalle Bank Corporation and the United Way in Chicago. He is also a
member of The Chicago Club, The Commercial Club, The Economic Club of
Chicago and The Executives’ Club of Chicago.
