THOMAS E. HAMLIN is a Senior Vice President with Wachovia Securities,
responsible for research coverage of merchant power companies and
utilities He joined the firm in October 1991 after a 10-year career with
Duff & Phelps, Inc. of Chicago. Mr. Hamlin has also served as a
consultant to many investor-owned utilities and has provided expert
witness testimony to state and federal regulatory agencies on financial
matters. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BS from the
University of Akron and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
