THEODORE R. O’NEILL joined Needham & Company in early 1997 and is
responsible for coverage of semiconductor capital equipment, flat panel
display and specialized electronic material manufacturers. In the
capital equipment sector, he covers the leading providers of front-end
wafer processing equipment as well as the major providers of testers and
test handlers. In The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street Survey
for 2000, he was awarded second place in stock picking in the Industrial
Technology & Office Products area. Mr. O’Neill was also awarded third
place for earnings forecast in the semi-equipment manufacturing area. He
has been a Securities Analyst since 1988 and was the Founder of
Quantessential Research and the Director of Research at H.C. Wainwright
& Co. Mr. O’Neill studied electrical engineering and finance at the
University of New Hampshire, New Hampshire Technical Institute, New
Hampshire College, New England College, Northeastern University and the
Indiana University Graduate School of Business. He holds AE, BA and MBA
degrees, is a CFA Level III candidate and is a member of the Institute
of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
