Stuart Greenfield, CFA, joined the Greenfield Seitz Group in 2002. Having grown up in the investment world, he developed a passionate interest for the field early in his life. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Greenfield worked at Luther King Capital Management in Ft. Worth, Texas, and in the New York office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he started at an MBA-level position, working with the Institutional Investor number-one-ranked conglomerates analyst. While at DLJ, Mr. Greenfield received all-star analyst votes from an institution managing over $400 billion. Later he joined Bear Stearns in equity research, covering Internet infrastructure stocks. Mr. Greenfield was Head Trader for Ridgecrest Partners, a hedge fund in New York. In 2001 he returned to Texas to manage Discovery Technology, a $30 million hedge fund, which benefited under his net-short position in the tech sector during the 2001 decline. In addition to authoring numerous equity research reports, Mr. Greenfield has been quoted in financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and CFA Magazine. In 2002 he was named “Best Wealth Manager” in the over $5 million investor category by D Magazine. Mr. Greenfield graduated from TCU in 1998 with a degree in finance. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts.
