Steven L. Basta

Steven L. Basta has been CEO of BioForm Medical, Inc., a medical aesthetics
company whose core product is Radiesse, an injectable dermal filler, since
November 2002. He also served as President from November 2002 to June 2007.
Prior to joining BioForm, Mr. Basta served as President and CEO of Gliatech,
Inc., a publicly traded medical device and drug discovery company. He was also
Vice President, Corporate Development, and CFO of Creative BioMolecules, Inc.
Mr. Basta previously served for two years as a Corporate Finance Associate with
investment bank Dillon, Read & Co., Inc. He holds a degree in biomedical
engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Management degree from
the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
