Steven D. Schwartz

STEVEN D. SCHWARTZ joined the financial services group at Raymond James
& Associates in May 2000. He focuses on the life insurance and asset
management sectors. Before coming to Raymond James, he was a Vice
President and insurance and financial services Analyst at ABN AMRO. He
has won a number of professional honors, including being named the top-
ranked stock picker in both the full line/life insurance sector and in
the property/casualty insurance sector in the 2000 Wall Street Journal
All Star Analyst survey. In addition, he was honored as the top-ranked
analyst in the same survey for life insurance estimate accuracy and
ranked in the top five in both the 2000 and 1999 All Star Analyst
Surveys for estimate accuracy in the property/casualty field. He also
earned top-10 rankings in both the 1999 and 1998 Reuters Surveys for
best sellside insurance industry analysts. He previously served as a
Financial Analyst at Ladenburg, Thalmann & Co., Yamaichi International,
Inc., and as a Research Associate at PaineWebber. He earned his Bachelor
of Arts degree in Theoretical Economics and his MBA in
Finance/Accounting from the University of California at Berkeley.
