Scott L. Bok is Chief Executive Officer of Greenhill & Co., Inc., an NYSE-listed independent investment bank that he joined as a Managing Director in 1997, shortly after it was founded. Mr. Bok previously served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and earlier as Co-President of the firm since before its IPO in 2004. Before joining Greenhill & Co., Inc., Mr. Bok was a Managing Director in the mergers, acquisitions and restructuring department of Morgan Stanley, where he spent more than 10 years based in New York and London. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Bok practiced M&A and securities law in New York with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz for more than two years. Mr. Bok is a member of the board of directors of Greenhill & Co., Inc., and Iridium Communications Inc. He also serves on the board of trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, The Chapin School and is Chairman of the board of Prep for Prep, a New York-based educational charity. Mr. Bok received undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in economics at the Wharton School, and in political science. He also received a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was an Editor of the law review.
