Sam L. Susser

Sam L. Susser is President and CEO of Susser Holdings Corporation. Prior to founding the Southguard Corporation (predecessor to Susser Holdings) in 1988, Mr. Susser spent 1985-1987 with Salomon Brothers Inc. in New York City and in Dallas in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He received his BBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Susser was admitted in 2009 to the Texas Business Hall of Fame. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and the Advisory Council for the College of Business at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, and he serves on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations.
