Sam J. Pearlstein

Sam J. Pearlstein is a Managing Director in Equity Research at Wachovia
Securities. He focuses on covering the defense and aerospace group.
Prior to joining First Union Securities (the prior name of Wachovia
Securities) in March 2000, he was a Director at ING Barings focused on
equity research for similar companies. He is a three-time Wall Street
Journal All-Star Analyst after being cited in 1999 and 2002 for stock
picking and in 2000 for earnings accuracy. Mr. Pearlstein is currently
the President of the Aerospace Analysts Society. Prior to ING Barings,
he was associated with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., IBM Corporation and
Grant Thornton. Mr. Pearlstein has an MBA in Finance from the Stern
School at New York University and has a BS in Systems Engineering from
the University of Pennsylvania.
