S. Kumar Chandrasekaran

S. KUMAR CHANDRASEKARAN is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief
Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of InSite Vision
Incorporated. Dr. Chandrasekaran joined InSite Vision in September 1987
as Vice President, Development. From 1988 to 1989, he served as Vice
President, Research and Development. From 1989 to 1993, he held the
positions of President and Chief Operating Officer. Since August 1993,
Dr. Chandrasekaran has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors,
Chief Executive Officer and, from December 1995 to December 1997, as
Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Chandrasekaran holds a PhD in Chemical
Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
