Rufus A. Fulton

RUFUS A. FULTON, JR. began his banking career as a Trust Officer Trainee
with Fulton Bank in August 1966. In 1969, he was named Trust
Administrator and in 1971, was promoted to Trust Officer. In 1977, Mr.
Fulton was named Senior Vice President and in 1982, Executive Vice
President. In 1987 he was named President of Fulton Financial
Corporation and was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of
Fulton Financial Corporation effective January 1, 1993. The title of
Chairman was added January 1, 1999. In January 2001 Mr. Fulton was named
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fulton Financial Corporation.
1984 and was elected a member of the Fulton Financial Corporation and
Fulton Bank Board of Directors.
