Roger L. Jarvis

ROGER L. JARVIS is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Spinnaker Exploration Company. Spinnaker’s business model focuses on
information and technology application in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Jarvis
developed the concept of Spinnaker and participated in its founding in
December 1996. Prior to forming Spinnaker, he served as President and
CEO of King Ranch, Inc. Mr. Jarvis was named Ernst & Young’s
Entrepreneur of the Year in the energy sector for 2001. He has also been
recognized as one of Worth magazine’s top 50 CEOs. Mr. Jarvis is
educated as a Petroleum Engineer, receiving his degree in 1976 from the
University of Tulsa. In addition to his duties at Spinnaker, Mr. Jarvis
also is a Director of National Oilwell (NYSE: NOI), Bill Barrett
Corporation and he is President of the Petroleum Club of Houston.
