Roger Dent

ROGER DENT joined Mavrix Funds Management Inc. in January 2003 and focuses primarily on Canadian small cap stocks. Prior to joining Mavrix, he was Director of Research at one of Canada’s largest independent brokerage firms. He was a small cap analyst for eight years (1993 to 2001) and was for part of that time ranked as the number one small cap analyst in Canada by the annual Brendan Wood institutional investor survey. At a bank-owned investment dealer, Mr. Dent was formerly Deputy Head of Research, Vice President of Debt Syndication and Vice President of Investment Banking. He has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a B. Comm from Queen’s University.
