Robert S. Silberman

ROBERT S. SILBERMAN is the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Strayer Education, Inc. Prior to joining Strayer, he was President and
Chief Operating Officer of CalEnergy Company, Inc., and was Assistant to
the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International Paper. Mr.
Silberman served during the first Bush administration as U.S. Assistant
Secretary of the Army in the Department of Defense. He is a graduate of
Dartmouth College and Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced
International Studies, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
