Robert L. Parker

ROBERT L. PARKER JR., is President and Chief Executive Officer of Parker
Drilling Company. Mr. Parker joined the company in 1973 and was elected
President and Chief Operating Officer in 1977 and Chief Executive
Officer in 1991. He has served on the Board of Directors of Parker
Drilling since 1973. Mr. Parker is a member of the Board of the
International Association of Drilling Contractors, and he serves on The
University of Texas Engineering Foundation Advisory Council and The
University of Texas at Austin Development Board. Mr. Parker graduated
from The University of Texas at Austin with a Master’s of Business
Administration degree in Finance.
