Robert L. Erwin

ROBERT L. ERWIN, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer,
founded Large Scale Biology Corporation and has served as a Director and
Officer since 1987. Mr. Erwin is the former Chairman of the State of
California Breast Cancer Research Council and currently serves on the
Board of the Analytical & Life Science Systems Association. He is
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Icon Genetics AG. Mr. Erwin
received his M.S. degree in Genetics from Louisiana State University.
