Robert Cordray is a Director covering the North American E&P industry. He also contributes to broader energy research topics and initiatives within the energy vertical. He has global industry experience across the E&P service company, operator and strategic consulting spaces. Before Joining Guggenheim in 2011, he was in E&P business development at Repsol in Madrid, Spain, where he had lead global strategy, analysis and M&A opportunity screening since 2008. Mr. Cordray began his E&P career in 1993 as a Geophysicist with Schlumberger and subsequently at Shell. Upon completion of his MBA, he became head of gas and power modeling at Shell Trading. In 2003 he joined PFC Energy, where he advised a variety of North American and international E&P operators on corporate strategy, business development and competitive positioning. Mr. Cordray then returned to Schlumberger as Vice President of Business Consulting. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and a B.S. in geology and physics from Morehead State University.
