Robert A. Loest

ROBERT A. LOEST, PhD, is Founder and CEO of IPS Advisory, Inc. and
Senior Portfolio Manager for the IPS Millennium Fund and the IPS New
Frontier Fund. He is a regular panelist on CNBC’s Market Week, which is
broadcast every Friday from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
Dr. Loest has also appeared on several other TV programs and has given
numerous talks to public groups and professional organizations around
the United States. He earned a BA from the University of Tennessee and
a PhD in Biology from Florida State University, where he taught as an
assistant and did research. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
Dr. Loest is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the
Association for Investment Management & Research (AIMR). He teaches
seminars in Securities Analysis for the University of Tennessee
Community Programs.
