Richard P. Beck

RICHARD P. BECK, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc., joined the company in 1992 and became
a member of the Board of Directors in 1995. He led the IPO of AE in
1995, two subsequent offerings of common stock and a convertible debt
offering and leads the merger and acquisition activity. Mr. Beck is also
on the Board of Directors of Applied Films, Inc., and Photon Dynamics
Inc. Prior to joining AE he was Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Pfficer of Cimage Corp., a software company, for more than
five years. Mr. Beck has a BS degree in Accounting and Finance and an
MBA in Finance, all from Babson College.
