Richard MacChia

RICHARD MACCHIA is the Vice President, Finance and Administration and
the Chief Financial Officer of Internet Security Systems, Inc. He is
responsible for the overall management of all financial, administrative,
human resource and other corporate support functions at ISS. Prior to
joining ISS in 1997, Mr. Macchia was with First Data Corporation, where
he served as Senior Vice President ‘ Finance of this multinational
financial services company. He has held key executive management
positions in two other public companies ‘ First Financial Management
Corporation and MicroBilt Corporation. Mr. Macchia is a Certified Public
Accountant. He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the
University of Notre Dame.
