Richard Desoto

RICHARD DESOTO is Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at
AltiGen Communications, Inc. Mr. DeSoto previously held the position of
Vice President of Marketing for Entera, Inc., where he was responsible
for worldwide strategic marketing. Mr. DeSoto brings to AltiGen 25 years
of successful marketing experience in the high tech communications
industry. He formerly served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales
for both FreeGate Corporation in Sunnyvale, California, and NetManage,
Inc., in Seattle, Washington. Other past experience includes senior
managerial marketing roles with US WEST and Nortel Networks where he was
primarily responsible for launching the industry’s first CTI product to
partner channels. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Public
Relations from San Jose State University. He is also a graduate of the
Cambridge Information Technology Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
