Richard Beck

RICHARD BECK is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. Mr. Beck joined Advanced Energy in 1992
as Chief Financial Officer and became a member of the Board of Directors
in 1995. He led the IPO of AE in 1995, a secondary offering in 1997,
and leads the merger and acquisition activity. Mr. Beck is also on the
board of directors of Applied Films, Inc. and Target Financial Corp.
Prior to joining AE, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Cimage Corp., a technical documentation software company, for
more than five years. Mr. Beck has a B.S. degree in Accounting and
Finance and an MBA in Finance, all from Babson College.
