Richard A. Doerr

RICHARD A. DOERR, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined SERENA
Software, Inc. following the completion of successful terms at Oracle
Corporation and Wall Data, Inc. He brings to SERENA the management and
distribution experience needed to improve SERENA’s operations and
accelerate the company’s growth plans. While at Oracle, Mr. Doerr served
as Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Indirect Channels from
1991 to 1994. Mr. Doerr also played a key role in the successful
transformation of Wall Data from a primarily North American software
company into a significant global software company. Mr. Doerr served as
Vice President of Sales, Services and Distribution at Wall Data from
1995 to 1996.
