Peter Bloch

PETER BLOCH joined Gennum Corporation in January 2000 as Vice
President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial
Officer. He is responsible for the finance, administration and
information technology functions. He is also a director of Gennum
KK, Gennum’s Japanese subsidiary and Gennum UK, its European
subsidiary. Previously, he held senior financial positions in the
pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He was employed as
Chief Financial Officer at Intellivax International Inc., Sanofi
Canada and Sterling Winthrop Canada. He has experience with these
companies in finance, strategic planning, corporate and business
development, and in legal and corporate communications. He
received his Bachelor of Commerce (honors) degree in 1981 from
the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and has been
registered as a Chartered Accountant since 1984.
