Paul G. Vitek

PAUL G. VITEK was appointed Senior Vice President, Finance and
Administration and Chief Financial Officer for CARBO Ceramics Inc. in
January 2001. He previously served as Vice President, Finance of the
company from February 1996 and acted as Chief Financial Officer,
Treasurer and Secretary from 1988. Prior to joining CARBO Ceramics, Mr.
Vitek was employed in the Treasurer’s Office of Diamond Shamrock Corp.,
Dallas, Texas (a refiner and processor of oil and natural gas), and
later Maxus Energy Corporation, Dallas (an independent oil and gas
company).
