O. Thomas Barry

O. Thomas Barry III, CFA, CIC is Chief Investment Officer, Senior
Executive Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of George D.
Bjurman & Associates. Prior to joining the company, he was Senior
Investment Officer; Portfolio Manager at Security Pacific National Bank
and Member of the Stock Selection Committee and served in the United
States Navy as Lieutenant, Pilot and Engineering Officer from 1967-1972.
Mr. Barry was educated at California State University and received a MBA
with emphasis in Corporate Finance and Accounting in 1982, and at the
University of Iowa, where he received a Bachelor of Business
Administration with major in Economics in 1967. His professional
affiliations include: Association for Investment Management and Research
