Michael Via

Michael Via is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Frantzen Capital
Management, Inc. He joined the company in July 2004. He was previously President
of Anderson & Strudwick Capital Advisors (the former general partner of Frantzen
Long/Short Fund, LP) and Director of Research for Richmond, Virginia-based
Anderson & Strudwick, Inc. (A&S). At A&S, he also served on the Board of
Directors. He has had an extensive career focused on sellside investment
management research, building a strict discipline for individual security
evaluation and monitoring. He began his investment career in 1980 with Branch,
Cabell & Co. as an investment broker. He graduated from the University of
Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He maintains his Series 65
investment license.
