Michael A. Kelly

MICHAEL A. KELLY joined Tanox, Inc., as Chief Financial Officer in
October 2000. Prior to joining Tanox, Mr. Kelly held the position of
Corporate Controller of Biogen, Inc., where he was responsible for
worldwide financial strategy, planning and organizational development.
Before joining Biogen in 1998, he held numerous increasingly responsible
senior management positions with Monsanto Life Sciences Company from
1991 to 1998, including Vice President, Finance and Information
Technology. Mr. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration from Florida A&M University.
